SHOPPING CART PROBLEMS - NETSCAPE

If you are experiencing problems with our shopping system we have listed below some possible solutions you can try. There are no guarantees, however we find that it solves most problems. This tends to help problems such as forbidden warnings, unable to choose shipping zone, and displaying an empty cart when you have put an item in it. We suggest you print off this page for easy referral.

***IMPORTANT*** Once you have made the changes below, you must close down Netscape and then start it up again.

We would suggest that you do everything listed below

1. Make sure that your browser is set up to accept cookies. Our shopping cart won't work unless you can accept cookies.

2. Items not appearing in your cart are usually caused by a problem with your local cache. For Netscape, go to the "Edit" menu at the top of the screen, click on "preferences", then click on "Advanced" in the window on the left-hand side. At the bottom of the screen you will see the message, Document in cache is compared to document on network". You must select, "Every time".

3. Next, we suggest clearing your local cache. For Netscape, go to the "Edit" menu at the top of the screen, click on "preferences", then click on "Advanced" in the window on the left-hand side. You will now see two buttons on the right hand side. "Clear Memory Cache" and "Clear Disk Cache" Click both of these buttons."

4. Finally we suggest that you clear all your cookies. Firstly, you have to find where your cookies file resides. to find this out go to the "Edit" menu at the top of the screen, click on "preferences", then click on "Advanced" in the window on the left-hand side. On the right hand side you will see "Disk cache folder." This is where your cookies reside.

It will probably follow the path C:\program files\netscape\users\yourname

To delete the cookies 4i. Go to My computer
4ii. Click on C:\ drive (or whichever letter indicates your hard disk)
4iii.Click on program files
4iv. Click on Netscape
4v. Click on Users
4v. Click on yourname
4vii. Delete the file named Cookies

Remember to close down Netscape and start it up again before trying to place your order again.Hopefully you will have no further problems. If You are still unable to order, we have set up a secure payments page where you can place your order.
